About 7(ish) years ago I met one of those inspiring spirits I just mentioned— @myhotmessstylist ✨Because we are both dreamers who believe we can achieve ANYTHING we put our thoughts and efforts toward, we have stayed continual sources of encouragement, energy, and empowerment for each other! Over the years it has been such a joy to witness her successes BUT I am particularly so proud of her NOW as she KILLS it as a stylist at @legionhairstudio 💇🏻♀️EVERY time I visit PA I pop in her chair because she knows EXACTLY what my hair and I need to be confident and powerful from the inside out! If only I could pack her up and take her back to New York City with me🤗 BUT instead I’ll share her with all of my Central PA friends! Ah, the JOY of a girl who is spilling the...uh...shaving cream?
Just go with it.... Newsflash! In addition to shaving legs, we ladies shave...elsewhere🤪 but seriously in addition to shaving my legs I also religiously shave my FACE. So what if society finds it taboo!! Honestly, it brings me so much JOY and confidence to open up about shaving my face. Being a woman with PCOS (and simply having dark hair in general), I have always had super prominent hair ALL over my body. I mean, I remember coming home crying in 2nd grade BEGGING my mom to let me shave. But now I choose to shave my legs AND face for ME! •
