Do you ever find yourself, year after year, setting the same goal to achieve the same dream but never actually following through with it? GIRL, SAME! In fact, that was 100% me. Always dreaming of starting a YouTube channel for Ditch the Clique but never making it happen. But the key word there is WAS because DTC TV is officially here!

Yes, my dream of Ditch the Clique expanding our connective social sphere to YouTube is officially here. And GIRL it came with A LOT of road blocks along the way…

2016: I officially started my blog, yes the OG version of what you’re reading today (& let’s be honest – I had been blogging before that, but it was VERY spotty) I told myself in 2016 “I’ll become consistent with this, and then IG, and then Youtube…“

2018: my best friend Kimberly said to me “Rach you should really be on Youtube. I’d watch your makeup routine…”

2019: Ditch the Clique’s photo/video/media strategist told me “Rachel, if you had a Youtube channel I’d film it & watch it…”

2020: I shared with fellow blogger & YouTuber Austen Tosone during a podcast recording that I dreamed of starting a Youtube channel – her wise words: “just start” but GIRL, I allowed myself to believe the lie that I don’t have a story to tell on YouTube (what was I thinking?)

2021: my best friend Josh said “If you had a YouTube channel, you could call it DTC TV…”

Also 2021: I was ready to start (and even released a single video!!!) but was later told to NOT start now and to instead wait. And despite my gut instinct to do it anyway, I listened…

But now, fast forward to today, 2022. & GIRL I’m thrilled to announce the launch of Ditch the Clique’s YouTube channel! The channel aka DTC TV OF COURSE jump starts with an inside look at Ditch the Clique events and continues with behind the scenes looks at our confidence coaching, client work, and my day-to-day life as the SheEO & empowerHER behind it all.

Yes, I’m thrilled. But I’m equally TERRIFIED!

And to be REALLY real, I’m terrified to share it with you because that makes it real! But GIRL isn’t that the goal of it all? To be surrounded by a community who holds you accountable and keeps you inspired in pursuit of your dreams? ABSOLUTELY. & if it wasn’t for THIS community cheering me on (especially in the moments I didn’t believe in me) I know I wouldn’t be here.
