Ditch the Clique is ALL about confidence. And for women, BODY confidence is everything! Whether at events or on our social platforms, here at Ditch the Clique we work to remind every woman that her size and appearance have not hold over living the life she dreams!
Our SheEO Rachel K. Grim is fearless and honest with this message. Even as things change, she doesn’t let that stop her from being confident in her own skin! In this way (and SO MANY others) Rachel empowers the Ditch the Clique COMMUNITY and ALL the women around her to live confidently! And GIRL, The BodCon thinks so, too! To recognize body confident women and small businesses like Ditch the Clique, the BodCon created the Impact Grant. This grant allows one impactful person to further build their brand while spreading body confidence and self love to even more people! Because of Rachel’s dedication to inspiring women of all ages, races, sizes, and careers, Ditch the Clique is one of the six finalists shortlisted to win alongside the other nominees who also do great work in creating safe communities that breaking stereotypes.
It’s February! And let’s be real…you likely either love or hate the “month of love”.
To be honest with you, over the years I’ve spent a lot of time digging deep into this one. Because as someone who struggles around the Christmas holiday season, I find it important to empathize with and support those who see holiday months as a challenge rather than a celebration. And through my “research” I’ve found one MAJOR commonality which leads me to ask…
Do those who dislike the month of love struggle to like themselves?
OKAY I know that sounds harsh, but before you stop reading PLEASE hear me out!
Think about it…a lot of people who dislike February struggle because of feeling incomplete or less than on Valentine’s Day. They battle feelings of loneliness and begin to believe the lie that they don’t measure up and are unworthy of love. And in return of feeling unloved, they fall of out love with themselves. And where love doesn’t live…hate does. But GIRL whether you love or hate February (and for whatever reason you love or hate it), I’m here to remind you:
YOU ARE COMPLETE. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. YOU DO MEASURE UP. YOU ARE WORTHY.
YOU. ARE. LOVED.
And GIRL, YOU deserve to love YOU!

who is Rachel?
Rachel K. Grim is the Brooklyn New York based blogger, speaker, and empowerHER behind the event series and online community Ditch the Clique. In 2019 Rachel launched Ditch the Clique to empower REAL women of all ages, races, sizes, and careers with goal-getting resources to live the life they dream! When she’s not scheming new ways to grow the Ditch the Clique COMMUNITY, Rachel can be found eating and shopping her way through New York City, traveling abroad, or watching binge-worthy reality television (with a glass of prosecco in hand, of course)!
Despite the CRAZINESS 2020 has thrown EVERYONE, when I reflect on 2020 I honestly can’t be anything but thankful. OF COURSE I’m NOT thankful for COVID and other tragedies plaguing our world, but as I’ve mentioned MANY times before…I’m eternally grateful for the growth 2020 has brought both me AND Ditch the Clique.
Narrowing down that thankfulness is hard though! From financial security to my family and friends remaining relatively healthy throughout the pandemic, I have SO much to be thankful for. However, I think the cherry on top of my gratitude is definitely having access to an empowering and inspiring COMMUNITY! I mean, my community is who keeps me going in times (and YEARS) like 2020!
I’ve been blessed to have an incredible community of women surrounding me most of my life but this year….this COMMUNITY is different….
