Pink ribbons draped along the walls, brunch food steaming on the counter, sticky notes spreading words of positivity on every mirror, and of course, the iconic gold DTC balloons creating the perfect backdrop for a photoshoot. Like so many other women, I FINALLY got to see these balloons in person at DTC’s Overcomers Tour! I have been working as an intern with DTC for over a year now, but I had never attended an in-person event or met Rachel (crazy, right?)

& just like that…I’m another year older! (Fellow Sex & the City fans, PLEASE tell me you read that in Carrie’s voice!)
In true Sagittarian form, I LOVE my birthday and the celebrations that ensue! But funny enough, I once *DREADED* getting older and the aging that inevitably comes with it (regardless of how strict my skincare routine may be.) And much like you, I used to believe the lie that very specific boxes needed to be checked by a certain age in order for me to *really* be happy.
