Our response to being a “Mover & Shaker”

If you haven’t noticed, we LOVE making friends online! And our girl Blaire Brown is no expection.

Blaire is a seasoned PR and marketing strategist empowering entrepreneurs and business leaders with simplified strategies to keep their teams inspired while going after their BIG goal!

For obvious reasons, we immediately hit it off with Blaire when we met in a thought leader Facebook Group. And at the risk of tooting our own horn….we’re *pretty* confident Blaire loved us too. In fact, she loved us so much that she featured us in her Movers & Shakers blog series!

Here, alongside over a dozen other badass women in business, Blaire shares what we’re all about and just a few of our tips to living your dream life too!

Our favorite part? Her ask for “Advice for Budding Entrepreneurs…

A word of advice I enjoy sharing with my community is to  think of your business or project like a puzzle. You have to build piece by piece before seeing the whole picture. Don’t overwhelm yourself by trying to achieve the full picture right away – simply find the next piece of the puzzle.

Founder, owner, and creative director of Effie’s Paper: Stationary & Whatnot, Kalyn created a lifestyle brand that presents cool and on-trend accessories for fun at work, stylish travel, and a chic daily life. But her path to this point had a lot of pit stops, including a 10-year stint working at a law firm (where she never intended to even practice law in the first place).  But finally she transitioned out of law and took some time to figure out what she REALLY wanted to be when she grew up (a question that plagues us all, no matter our age).

From combating COVID-19 to wading the political pool, addressing racial inequality in our country to redefining what it means to “work from home”, this year has forced us to face change. And as mentioned in my blog post Let’s NOT Return to “NORMAL” I’m not so sure all of this change is necessarily bad.

In fact, I’m not sure EMBRACING change is all that bad either…
