If you’ve followed here for any amount of time, you likely know that my passion to inspire and empower women has grown from a fashion focus to a focus on women of ALL ages, races, sizes, and careers.
Honestly, this transition has been a journey (literally YEARS in the making), and at times I’ve wondered “is this all the further I’ll go…”
GIRL, if you’ve ever thought the same of YOUR journey, I’m here to remind you…THAT IS A LIE! This is NOT all the further YOU or I will go (and if it was, this is NOT a bad place to be because we’ve worked damn hard to be here!) But thanks to the empowered women around me continually reminding me of who I am and what I’m capable of, I’ve proven MANY lies I tell myself WRONG, and I’m beyond blessed to empower YOU to do the same!
Throughout much of 2020, I’ve told myself the lie that Ditch the Clique was no longer capable of LIVE in person events (thanks to COVID). But my community told me otherwise. In fact, they believed in ME AND Ditch the Clique SO much that they REQUESTED socially distant, in person events.
SO….
I TRASHED THAT LIE AND MADE IT HAPPEN!
October 8-10th I traveled from Brooklyn to my home state of Pennsylvania to host the FIRST LIVE, in person Ditch the Clique event of 2020. And GIRL, it was beyond successful!
Over three days, 25+ women connected over guided conversation, empowering resources, and goal-getting tips & tricks. They left supported, inspired, empowered, with goodies from FABULOUS sponsors, and with a plan to go after their dream!!!
And to think I believed the lie that it couldn’t happen…
GIRL, if THIS isn’t proof that there is SO much success OUTSIDE our comfort zone I don’t know what is!
