What To Do When Your Dreams Change

At 5 years old, I wanted to be a teacher. At 10, a veterinarian. At 15, a writer. At 20, a PR professional. Clearly, my “dream job” has changed a lot since I was a kid. It’s natural. It’s expected. But for some reason, once we reach a certain age, change suddenly feels scary, as if we’ve committed to one dream, one path, one idea of ourselves, and it’s too late to try something new. 

But GIRL, let me tell you this — it’s NEVER too late to change.

& Just Like That…I’m Old(er)

& just like that…I’m another year older! (Fellow Sex & the City fans, PLEASE tell me you read that in Carrie’s voice!)

In true Sagittarian form, I LOVE my birthday and the celebrations that ensue! But funny enough, I once *DREADED* getting older and the aging that inevitably comes with it (regardless of how strict my skincare routine may be.) And much like you, I used to believe the lie that very specific boxes needed to be checked by a certain age in order for me to *really* be happy.
