A Guide to Curvy Swimwear

GIRL…

MAYBE I’m going out on a limb here, BUT I’m going to take a wild guess that at some point (regardless of your shape, size, race, or age) you’ve cringed at the idea of wearing (or even shopping for) swimwear.

And I get it! I’m a curvy girl you can find somewhere between loving her thick body and balancing PCOS weight fluctuations, who has ABSOLUTELY had those same cringey moments…

And I’m here to remind you, that it’s okay!We all have THOSE moments, THOSE days. But the key here is to not continually live in those negative feelings, and instead find a way to channel them into LOVING and celebrating your body NOW. Don’t get me wrong…truly learning to love YOU where you are NOW is a process! But as always, I want to share ways I’ve learned to love me in the moment in hopes of making your journey a bit lighter!

3 Summer Styles to Add to Your Wardrobe NOW

When I wrote my Spring Style blog post, I was CERTAIN COVID restrictions were coming to an end! I was confident life would be back to “normal” by summer…and…here we are. I mean, we all need something to look forward to, right? Personally, I think as long as we allow dreaming about life after quarantine to motivate us rather than discourage us, it’s absolutely healthy and OKAY!

And like the true fashionista I am, I can’t help but dream about what I’m going to wear after quarantine, too! Creating outfits that express my personality and mood is an artistic and inspirational outlet for me, so it seems like a fair addition to my list of post quarantine dreams!

But the question is…what am I wearing after quarantine?

5 Steps to Creating an Inspiration Board

It’s no secret we’re all feeling a bit unmotivated lately. I don’t know about you but I typically find inspiration in my circle of empowered women and my surroundings (bless you, New York City). But because my surroundings haven’t changed in WEEKS…well…let’s just say I’ve been forced to find inspiration elsewhere.

And you know, I’ve decided that’s not necessarily a bad thing…

In fact, since being FORCED to find inspiration in other ways, I’ve arguably been more creative than EVER before! WILD, right?

I know you’re likely in need of creative ways to find inspiration too, so I’m excited to share one of my MANY methods with you! (I used and loved this method PRE quarantine, but have found it to be an absolute game changer since quarantine started, too!)

So let’s get into it!
