Dressing Up to Stay In During COVID-19 Quarantine
If you’ve been a part of this community for sometime, you know even when we’re not in COVID-19 quarantine I work for myself from home on the daily. And most of the time, I LOVE it! Though I’m an extrovert, I find I am more productive and less distracted working on my own. I know if the work is not finished or to my standard, it is the fault of only ONE person….
But as much as I enjoy working on my own, I typically pack my weeks with meetings, lunches, and brainstorm sessions OUTSIDE of my home office with people who empower me and creatively inspire my work! I truly look forward to these in-person interactions, treating them as an opportunity to connect, share, and support businesses, friends, and my community!
Though interfacing with friends and brands is HUGE for me, it’s not the ONLY reason I look forward to leaving the house…

At the kick-off of February, I shared with you that though the “month of love” is the PERFECT time to celebrate the loves of your life, it’s also the BEST time to rekindle your love for YOU!
But what about when the month revolving around love comes to an end?
While I was recently speaking at a women’s event, I discussed the power of celebrating ourselves. But throughout this conversation a few ladies interjected they are often shamed for feeling TOO good about themselves.
…it’s almost as if society (and unfortunately other women) build us up yet wrong us when we are confident in who we are.
