Some days, my to-do list feels like a taunt. All I can do is sit back in my chair, stare out the window, and let my mind wander to avoid all the tasks I have piling up. No matter how good of a writer I am, sometimes the words just don’t come. When my inspiration has run dry, all that is left to do is wait. 

Motivation comes and goes… and goes and goes and goes (trust me, I’m a college student — I get it.)

It’s okay to do things for YOU (and be alone)

At the kick-off of February, I shared with you that though the “month of love” is the PERFECT time to celebrate the loves of your life, it’s also the BEST time to rekindle your love for YOU!

But what about when the month revolving around love comes to an end?

While I was recently speaking at a women’s event, I discussed the power of celebrating ourselves. But throughout this conversation a few ladies interjected they are often shamed for feeling TOO good about themselves.

…it’s almost as if society (and unfortunately other women) build us up yet wrong us when we are confident in who we are.

My Empowered Women Keynote Chat

Maybe you’ve heard but…

At the end of 2019, I launched my Ditch the Clique series offering women of all ages, races, sizes, and career paths a safe space to share their goals and find an inspiring community to help them chase (and ACHIEVE) their dreams. The first of many Ditch the Clique events was hosted in my hometown of Pennsylvania, with the New York City kick off event launching Spring 2020!
