swimwear that *actually* fits your butt

As I sit down to write this, it’s crazy to think where I was the prior TWO YEARS I wrote similar swimwear reviews…

When putting together last years 2020 swimwear guide, the idea of being vaccinated and able to travel felt a lifetime away. While in 2019 my curvy bod was in the best shape of it’s life, about to marry my best friend.

And now here we are in Spring 2021…

As I write this, it would be easy for me to complain about the past 14 months, ridicule my body for its changes, and simply not share my swimwear review. But GIRL I, YOU, WE have survived a global pandemic and our bodies got us through! And I don’t know about YOU, but I believe that’s something worth celebrating!

And to do just that we here at Ditch the Clique have teamed up with Kitty & Vibe to not only share our thoughts on their latest collection, but to remind you that 1. EVERY BODY is a bikini body worth celebrating and 2. you deserve swimwear this season that ACTUALLY fits your body (and booty) regardless of size!

But before we dive into our swimwear celebration, allow me to introduce Kitty & Vibe!

Who the heck is Kitty & Vibe anyway?

Kitty & Vibe is a boutique female owned & operated swimwear brand on a mission to awaken and fuel self-love for a kinder world. What exactly does that mean? Well to get REALLY specific, that looks like swimwear that is secure, comfortable and designed to fit YOUR body. The brands revolutionary sizing system, matches your booty size using their sizing guide guaranteeing a fit exclusive to your shape!

But if I’m REALLY honest, despite their incredible mission I was still skeptical. GIRL I’ve been a big booty gal for as long as I can remember and swimwear has NEVER fit my bottom! Enter Kitty & Vibe who proved me wrong the moment I saw their sizing chart that not only takes into account hip size and pant size, but offers 2 different booty sizes too! So rather than simply ordering a Large 8-10 like I usually do, I selected L2 to account for my larger, curvy booty. And GIRL… SHE FITS!

No booty bulge or wedgie here – just swimwear that fits and celebrates MY BODY (as it should!)

Because I love experimenting with curve flattering styles, I gave Kitty & Vibe’s Willow Vibe a wear in the Cut-Out One Piece, Underwire Top, and High Waisted Bottoms. I absolutely LOVE what these styles did for my body and booty, and must admit the High Waisted Bottoms are now one of my all-time favorites!

You can enjoy 10% these and so many more styles when you use code RACHEL10 at checkout!

GIRL I don’t know about YOU, but I’ve discovered there is something absolutely empowering about finding clothing that fits your body rather than trying to fit your body into clothes.
