It’s okay to do things for YOU (and be alone)

At the kick-off of February, I shared with you that though the “month of love” is the PERFECT time to celebrate the loves of your life, it’s also the BEST time to rekindle your love for YOU!

But what about when the month revolving around love comes to an end?

While I was recently speaking at a women’s event, I discussed the power of celebrating ourselves. But throughout this conversation a few ladies interjected they are often shamed for feeling TOO good about themselves.

…it’s almost as if society (and unfortunately other women) build us up yet wrong us when we are confident in who we are.

My Empowered Women Keynote Chat

Maybe you’ve heard but…

At the end of 2019, I launched my Ditch the Clique series offering women of all ages, races, sizes, and career paths a safe space to share their goals and find an inspiring community to help them chase (and ACHIEVE) their dreams. NYFW Fall/Winter 2020 Recap

And just like that, New York Fashion Week has come and gone (AGAIN!)

February is fashion month (I know, that happened fast right?) and I’m still on a high from last season! September’s NYFW was the VERY best yet, not only providing me the opportunity to attend a dozen INCREDIBLE shows, but it was a space to network with inspiring and empowering women in the industry, too!
