Best Inspiring Instagram Accounts to Follow

Instagram can be an exhausting place. If I spend too long scrolling, I’m left feeling drained, empty, and oftentimes… jealous. I catch myself comparing myself to other people, and it’s hard to stop. That’s why it’s so important to interrupt that endless feed with some inspiring content. 

But what should you look for in an inspiring account?

I try to ask myself these 3 questions:

  1. Is the content adding something to my life? 
  2. Does it match my lifestyle? 
  3. When I scroll through their feed, does it make me a happier, better person? 

Obviously we hope Ditch the Clique answers YES to all these questions by providing you with inspiring and empowering resources! APRIL’S FAVORITE INSTAGRAM ACCOUNTS:

With honesty and humor, UK-based Chessie King talks about body confidence and loving yourself. She even has other creators takeover her Instagram for the day to talk about their inspiring stories. Seeing her posts and how confident she is makes me more confident too! 

@ashtonlongsmith

Ashton Longsmith is the empowering business coach you didn’t know you needed. She helps female entrepreneurs and CEOs scale their business and grow into their role as boss. Even if you don’t run a business, her content is ALWAYS empowering.

Shannon Barry inspires me with her writing. For many of her pictures, she writes long, beautiful captions about her struggles and successes. She is honest about her experience with Crohn’s Disease, while at the same time constantly spreads love and positivity. Her beautiful prose encourages me as a writer and creator.

I LOVE seeing and supporting these inspiring women and the changes they are making in the world. It’s encouraging to know that social media doesn’t have to be so negative.
